OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Committed to Your Needs

In order to avoid any misunderstandings please read our terms and conditions of service. Upon payment of the deposit into our account, it will be deemed that you will have read and accepted these terms and conditions. 


Booking and Deposits

1. In order for us to confirm the booking in your favour we require a securing deposit of 70% of the total value of your booking.
2. All bookings prior to paying the deposit are considered provisional and therefore not secure. Provisional bookings automatically lapse after 7 days.
3. All quotations are valid for a period of 7 (seven) days after quotation date.
4. All orders to be paid in full (via EFT – no cash deposits) at least 5 (five) days prior to your scheduled function date.
5. Should you cancel your booking within 5 (five) days of the scheduled function date, this deposit is not refundable.
6. We are not V.A.T. vendors.


General

1. Clients are required to supply suitable access to electrical power / generator for the braa/grills and suitable cover in the event of rain & wind.
2. The food serving station(s) will be open to guests for a period of 30 - 60 minutes depending on guest quantities. Once all guests have been served the quoted menu, our staff will slowly start to pack up in anticipation of departure.
3. Due to simultaneous functions we can only accommodate a 30 minute delay in serving time should the client require. We do not take responsibility for spoiled or dry food if the client delays the serving time as noted in the quotation.
4. At our expense, we supply additional meat weight over and above what is required for the quoted menu in order to provide for our staff.
5. We do not accept liability for any failure to provide the service contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including bad weather, electricity and water failures, fire alarm evacuation and venue restrictions.
6. Please provide containers for any additional leftovers.

Final Arrangements

1. Please confirm final catering numbers, specific dietary requirements and timing no later than 5 (Five) days prior to the scheduled function date. Adjustments within 5 days of scheduled function may not be possible as result of advance planning, ordering and scheduling etc from our side.
2. Finger Starter, Salad, Hot Veg and Dessert options are available on our website for your selection. These options are subject to change and availability.

Catering Inclusions

1. Chef(s) on duty to cook, carve and serve the quoted menu.
2. Braai equipment.
3. Cutlery and crockery specific to quoted menu.
4. Rectangular Serving Table(s).
5. Basic table dressing for serving table(s) – we use black table cloths
6. Chafing Dishes (heating equipment).
7. Salt, pepper, sauces and white paper serviettes.

Catering Exclusions

1. All Items not specifically detailed in the quotation are considered to be excluded.

Breakages

1. Clients are responsible for losses and damages of all catering equipment while being used by their guests (EG: Cutlery, crockery, tables, chairs and glassware).

Equipment Delivery & Buffet Set Up

1. An equipment delivery & buffet set up fee of R350.00 will be levied on all full catering functions within 25km’s of Polokwane central. There after an additional R6 per kilometre will apply.
2. Equipment delivery could be by medium sized trucks, kindly ensure adequate truck clearance and access to the setup area are free from obstruction like tree’s etc (truck width = 2.9m & truck Height = 3.8m).
3. The equipment is heavy and should ideally not be carried distances to the set up area. Please advise in advance if equipment will need to be carried any form of distance.
4. Our trucks fall within maximum weight restrictions as imposed by many residential complexes.
5. Please obtain all HOA & security clearances for access if necessary and provide us with gate codes where required prior to delivery.
6. Should braai machines need to pass through any doors or gates they will need to be at least 900mm wide. Anything less and the braai  equipment will NOT fit.
7. Our arrival at the venue is approximately 1 hour prior to serving time depending on the menu being served.
